Minibus Loans
The LAMA minibus is a 17-seat Mercedes (driver+16). It is comfortable and spacious, with large windows that offer good views over the passing countryside.
Local not-for-profit organisations that provide a benefit to the community (eg, school, institute, playgroup, church, association or club) may register as an authorised organisation in order to borrow the minibus for their own activities. Nearby community benefit organisations that are based outside the Lerryn Area may register as a nearby authorised organisation in order to loan the LAMA minibus if their nearest community transport provider is unavailable for any reason (eg, the minibus is booked for another job, the minibus is being repaired, or LAMA is your closest community minibus operator).
Registration is a one time activity. Once accepted by LAMA as an authorised organisation or a nearby authorised organisation, nomiated "loan organisers" for your organisation may simply log in on our home page to "book trips online". The LAMA user who registers a new loan organisation automatically becomes the "primary loan organiser" for that organisation. Thereafter, additional loan organisers may be added to your organisation by emailing the LAMA Loans Officer (see our contacts page). All loan organisers must be registered LAMA users.

What if I cannot register an authorised organisation?
As a condition of our operator's licence, the LAMA minibus is not available for "private hire" unless it is for a purpose that is of benefit to the community. This might typically be an event to which all members of the local community are invited. Community events could include local festivals, flower shows, music concerts, theatrical productions and funerals.
