Register as Loan Organisation
Registered Loan Organisations must:
- be a recognised organisation.
- operate on a not-for-profit basis.
- provide a benefit to the community.
- have membership open to all within the aims and constraints of their organisation.
- be based in either:
- LAMA's area of operation, which encompasses Lerryn, St Veep, St Winnow, Boconnoc, Lostwithiel and the districts that surround them. If approved, there will be a one-off £1 fee to purchase a LAMA share on behalf of your organisation to become both a full member of LAMA and an “authorised organisation”. Your organisation will then be eligible to borrow the LAMA minibus in accordance with LAMA’s vehicle loan scheme standard terms and conditions (see vehicle loan agreement) and it may also nominate someone to represent your organisation's interests at LAMA General Meetings.
- LAMA's nearby area of operation, which applies when LAMA is cooperating with nearby community transport organisations that are based outside of LAMA’s area of operation, but are typically within 25 miles of Lerryn. If approved, there will be a one-off £1 fee to register as a “nearby authorised organisation”. Your organisation will be eligible to borrow the LAMA minibus in accordance with LAMA’s vehicle loan scheme standard terms and conditions (see vehicle loan agreement), but such loans will only be permitted when evidence is provided that a community minibus closer to you is unavailable (e.g. the minibus is booked for another job, the minibus is being repaired, or LAMA is your closest community minibus operator).
Before you register your organisation, you should first register yourself as a LAMA user. If you are already registered, please log in as a LAMA user before proceeding below. If you are not logged in as a LAMA user, then you may still enter your details below, but you will be asked to enter a password and a new LAMA user account will be created for you, in which case the registration process will take a bit longer to complete.
